Along with Jim O. & the Sporadic Fanatics and Armand St. Martin, we played at Vet's Blvd. bookstore! 

A smoke-free venue!  Welcomed Jason (my ex-next door neighbor in Houston)& wife Shannon, Rinaldo; Maria & hubby Rob Siegel; Pat McDonald Fowler (Mark's wife); Jenny of the Co-Op; and Mike Starr (security guard) to the Trips' Fan Club.

Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association's Annual Fundraiser

We slithered in the traditional Marie Laveau-fashion on the lawn of the historic Pitot House, 1440 Moss Street, on Bayou St. John where we popped the cork and the gator under the ravishingly beautiful Moonlight!

Thank you to all who made this super-spectacular event, especially Rocky Seydel & Company for hiring us, and Ed Meyer for his sound work!

Creole Queen Paddleboat

Wendy hired us for her Special Day and the Full-Moon Ceremony by the Captain on the Mississippi River was quite spectacular.  Mark played the Wedding Song on iead guitar for her entrance on deck.  The reception was held below in a private party room while the regular jazz dinner cruise with Jerry Embree was on a deck above us.  Watching the skyline recede downriver was something to behold...

As Wendy held on to David!  Thanks for letting us entertain you & your guests!

And here I am as a "Hit Miss" when I sang with Johnny J & The Hitmen on the Louisiana  Jukebox Show w/Nikki Reyes later that same April.  Marva Wright was the headliner!!! God Bless her!
